$1,000 Scholarship

The purpose of the Clifford Barnes Civic Duty Scholarship is to provide financial assistance to a graduating High School student from the town of Walpole who exemplifies the spirit of civic, art and entrepreneurial ethics in the following areas: Citizenship, Responsibility and Community Spirit.

Eligibility Requirements:

• Graduating Senior in May 2026

• Continuing their education in September 2026 (pursuing skilled craft as an artisan, trade as a tradesperson,
  or work as a technician)

• Student has an excellent work history within Walpole community and has aspirations of owning their
  own business in the future

• Resident of Walpole (minimum 2 years)
